Over the past few weeks Mr Jackson has been completing a selection of 6 courses accredited by the United Nations on climate change.

Having passed all the tests, he is delighted to now be;

A United Nations Certified Climate Change Teacher -one of only 79 in the whole of the UK and only the second in North Yorkshire.

During the  Climate Change Teacher Academy course Mr Jackson covered units on – 

*   Introduction to Climate Change 
*   Impact of Climate Change on Children 
*   Cities and Climate Change 
*   Human Health and Climate Change 
*   Gender and Climate Change 
*   International Legal Regime 

Mr Jackson will use this new knowledge to adapt and increase the level of detail in our current climate change topics being taught at both KS3 and 4 from September.
