Now we are back to children learning online from home, they will be spending a lot more time on devices.

These devices can be great. Allowing them access their lessons and information to further their learning.

“But what else can they access? Is it safe?”

Here are two websites that will help you with all the information you need to know to keep your children safe online.

Net Aware is an easy-to-use site run by the NSPCC and O₂. It provides information about apps, games and social media sites as well as information on setting up the safety settings on devices.

Think U Know is run by the National Crime Agency and the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command. The site provides information for keeping children of all ages safe online.

If you need further advice, please contact school and our Student Support team will do our best to assist you.

Thank you, UWS Support Support Team
