Around 60 Year 7 and 8 students recently took part in the Junior Maths Challenge, a national competition which challenges students to solve some demanding Maths problems. Overall, there were 23 students who earned an achievement certificate – 13 Bronze (top 50% nationally), 7 Silver (top 25% nationally) and 3 Gold (top 8% nationally).

One of our Year 8 students, Samuel P, also performed well enough to qualify for an even more challenging follow-on round to take place in June – this achievement puts him in the top 5% of students nationally who took part in the challenge.

Well done to all and good luck to Samuel!
